TalkSPORT man thinks Premier League striker is going to go to Newcastle

Sam Matterface of talkSPORT reports that Dominic Calvert-Lewin, an Everton striker, will be joining Newcastle United this summer.

The England international has proven to be a steady and dependable player while at Goodison Park, and there has long been speculation that he will eventually move on to a larger club.

Everton is now facing financial difficulties as a result of Financial Fair Play violations and a Premier League point punishment from the previous season. Consequently, there has been increased speculation about players who may leave the club.

In the upcoming weeks, there will undoubtedly be more rumors regarding Jarrad Branthwaite and Amadou Onana, and it appears that Calvert-Lewin’s position is also seriously in jeopardy.

According to Matterface, the 27-year-old is on his way to St James’ Park.

“Doesn’t that sound like a deal (possible Everton takeover) that is going to be done from now and the beginning of the season?” he said.

“Therefore, Everton, over the course of this period, are more likely to lose players, than gain players.

“Bearing in mind that they didn’t have the deepest squad in the first place. That will be of concern – Calvert-Lewin, he is going to go to Newcastle.”
