Newcastle is urged by the EFL Chairman not to do business with four Premier League teams

Darragh MacAnthony, the chairman of Peterborough United, has advised Newcastle United on transfers this summer, cautioning them against losing top players to specific Premier League rivals.

Two important Magpies players, Bruno Guimaraes and Alexander Isak, have recently been linked to teams like Manchester City and Arsenal; however, St. James’ Park management would be insane to lose them to those teams.

Now that he has spoken about Newcastle’s summer transfer ambitions, MacAnthony has made it apparent what he would do if he were in charge of the team’s decision-making.

A transfer warning has been issued to Newcastle United. “You just mentioned some of your rivals, and you don’t want to lose any of those players,” he stated. And you want them to leave the nation if you want to make a deal.

Thus, you want to go after PSG, one of those teams, and tell them that if you do this, they will be leaving the Premier League, especially if you have to trade Bruno and clearly the striker (Isak).

I have no intention of fortifying Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, or Liverpool.

“I doubt Newcastle will let go of those players.” I believe they’ll figure it out. Can Newcastle stop Man City from acquiring someone like Guimaraes if they make the big money and express interest? It would be difficult to avoid a scenario in which the Brazil international made a strong push to transfer to the Etihad Stadium, where he would have the opportunity to work under the renowned Spanish manager Pep Guardiola, play with some of the best players in the world, and win all the major trophies. In a similar vein, Isak will undoubtedly want to compete in the Champions League and envision himself making a significant contribution to Arsenal that will enable them to cross the finish line. and enjoy the success they’re seemingly so close to getting.
