Alexander Isak, a striker for Newcastle United, has expressed his intention to remain at St. James’ Park.

The striker has regularly demonstrated his excellent form for Eddie Howe’s club since leaving Real Sociedad.

The Sun reports that Arsenal and Tottenham, the rival North London teams, have been linked to the Newcastle striker in their pursuit of an attacker this summer.

The 24-year-old wants to stay with the team longer and doesn’t plan on leaving even if Newcastle doesn’t make it into the Champions League the following season.

“I’m incredibly happy at Newcastle,” the 24-year-old stated to the Swedish news outlet Footballskanalen.

“I had my most successful season to date. You must not undervalue that. I adore the city, the supporters, and the club in its whole.

“I honestly don’t have any plans to move or do something similar. I’m enjoying myself greatly and am content with my life.

For a club record £63 million, the Magpies acquired the striker (via Sky Sports).

Although selling him would result in a sizable return on their investment, the team is unwilling to let go of the player.

In terms of the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability regulations, Newcastle might have some difficulties. But the team has no intention of selling the Sweden international.

The striker has made an impression on the Gunners, who want to strengthen their assault in order to win the Premier League.

Although Kai Havertz did a great job as a false nine when needed, Arsenal would prefer an attacker who can play all out.

Harry Kane left Tottenham to join Bayern Munich in the summer, and they still haven’t found a replacement.

Newcastle United has no plans to let go of Isak.

Isak is essential to the Magpies’ chances of success in the near future, thus they should do all in their power to keep him at the club.

He is their most significant player, along with Anthony Gordon and Bruno Guimaraes, and he has won the fans over with his outstanding performances.

Howe and the team value the striker highly and intend to retain him for a considerable amount of time.
